Definitions

Years to save:	The number of years you have to save.
Amount to save:	The amount you wish to have in savings at the end of this savings plan.
Amount currently saved:	Total you currently have saved or toward this savings goal.
Savings per month:	The amount you will contribute each month to your investments.
Expected Rate of Return:	Annual rate of return on your savings. For example, the long-term rate of return for the S&P 500 is about 10%. A savings account earns 2% to 5%.
Expected Inflation Rate:	What you expect for the average long-term inflation rate.
