Our roots run deep 

The roots of Security First Bank have been growing since the late 1800s. The bank’s history is tied directly to the heritage of western Nebraska. We began as The Stockmens Bank of Rushville, Nebraska back in 1898, when nine ranchers opened the bank with a total investment of $15,000.

Today, Security First is a financial leader in Nebraska and South Dakota, with 30 branch locations from Lincoln and Beatrice to Rapid City and Martin, along with seven insurance offices. We have hundreds of automatic teller machines across Nebraska, Iowa South Dakota and Kansas, and unique mobile bank services, the Badlands Express and Teller Express. Even though Security First is one of the fastest growing financial services providers in the Heartland, we still have a small-town, friendly attitude. Each customer is treated like a good neighbor and personalized service is a top priority.
