Security First Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program (TAGP).  Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account.  NOW Accounts at this bank are not covered by this program.  Coverage under the TAGP is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit rules.  The FDIC deposit insurance calculator, EDIE The Estimator, can help you to determine the extent of insurance coverage on your deposits.
